This vigorous and enlivening Standing Pose class is based on a sequence posted by the Iyengar Association in Spain on International Yoga Day in commemoration of Geeta Iyengar. Geeta was the oldest daughter of B.K.S. Iyengar, and she was the world’s foremost advocate for adapting yoga for women in the Iyengar lineage. She is best know for her books A Gem for Women and Iyengar Yoga for Motherhood.
